Speed Mingle, established in 2001, offered an alternative to online dating for meeting people face-to-face. In Fall 2024, Speed Mingle will relaunch with a focus on participant privacy, enabling individuals to connect for friendship, dating, or business. This innovative approach empowers participants to control who views their information, ensuring their privacy is respected.

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic Speed Mingle Event Host to join our team. Our Speed Mingle events offer an interactive platform for individuals of all ages to network, find potential matches, forge new friendships, or simply enjoy a delightful evening. We aim to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where attendees can connect in a stress-free environment. As a host, you will have the opportunity to earn additional income, meet new people, and potentially find your special someone.

In 2001, in Omaha, Nebraska, a young entrepreneur yearned for an innovative way for people to connect and meet. As an alternative to conventional dating options, they founded Speed Mingle, introducing unique concepts such as “The 4 Minute Date,” “Lock & Key,” and “Dine in the Dark.”

As the event gained popularity, it expanded to Birmingham, Alabama, in 2004. Among the attendees was Brad Peters, who was captivated by the concept and contemplated acquiring a license to host events in the area. However, negotiations regarding the investment he was willing to make stalled.

Undeterred, Brad reconsidered licensing the area in 2006 and ultimately decided to purchase the entire concept. Consequently, he relocated the operation from Omaha, Nebraska, to Birmingham, Alabama. From 2006 to 2009, Speed Mingle hosted numerous events across the USA, predominantly in the Southeast. These events diversified to include LGBTQ+, friendship, couples, and business networking gatherings, catering to a broader audience.

Within our countrywide network, Speed Mingle hosts in their respective areas organize Speed Mingle events. These Speed MIngle hosts work as independent contractors and receive compensation either as a percentage of ticket sales or as a fixed fee.

It’s important to note that this is not a salaried or hourly paid position. To support our Speed Mingle hosts, we provide training, customer service assistance, multi-channel marketing, multiple websites for ticket sales, and various online platforms. Additionally, we leverage the credibility of HRBUniversal, LLC, one of the most esteemed hospitality and training organizations in the US.

We understand that time is valuable, and we don’t want to overburden our Speed MIngle hosts. Thus, we strive to optimize our procedures and marketing strategies to minimize the time commitment required to coordinate events. While part-time, this opportunity does require effort and dedication from those joining our team. Our proven process ensures that exceptional individuals remain with us for an extended period.
